TBL Favorites: September 2019

Hi Beauties!

I hope you enjoyed the Monthly Teaser in your inbox this morning! (If you’re not signed up for our monthly roundup, you can join our list here.)

The team and I have so much fun compiling our favorite things to share with you each month! Hopefully they spark inspiration, provide joy, help you find a new pair of running shoes, try a new recipe, or read a new book!

Currently Listening to:

Working & Motherhood with Jessica Turner on the Real Life Podcast with Jeff & Alyssa Bethke.

The Greatest Showman on repeat! My whole family loves this soundtrack and we often do living room dance parties to it.”  – Elisabeth

“I’ve been enjoying the Skimm This podcast to keep me up to date on current events – love being able to catch up with the world while doing other things like making dinner or getting ready in the morning.” – Jordin

Currently Reading:

Reading about how exercise makes you happier than money (off to do Pilates!)

“I’m reading The Cactus by Sarah Haywood.” – Becky

“I got an advanced copy of Beholding and Becoming by Ruth Chou Simons and it is amazing! Such encouraging truths about how what we set our hearts on affects our day-to-day lives. Check it out when it releases in September!” – Elisabeth

“A little late to the Enneagram party, but have been diving into The Road Back to You. So interesting and enlightening!” – Jaclyn

Wardrobe:

Living in these jean shorts. Seriously, if you see me, I’ll probably be wearing them.

“I received Allbirds Tree Loungers for my birthday and I’m obsessed – never want to take them off! The Merino wool keeps your feet the right temperature (warm or cool) and they’re easy to wear with any casual outfit – shorts, jeans, yoga pants, skirts, etc!” – Martha

“These Target slides have become my summer shoe of choice!” – Becky

“My husband gave me these Birkenstocks for my birthday this summer and I have worn them every day since! So comfortable and supportive.” – Jaclyn

“These Lululemon tights are a running game changer. They stay put and the back pocket actually fits my giant iPhone! I’ll be wearing these a lot when the weather cools off and I can run outside again.” – Jordin

In the Kitchen:

It’s back-to-school time in our house and I’ve been seeking out healthy lunch inspiration for the kids. These healthy lunch ideas that go beyond a sandwich are helping to get me back in lunch-packing mode!

“A friend recently brought me a meal of this easy sheet pan dinner and it’s going to become a staple! Love the tiny bit of a kick it has from the dijon mustard + hot sauce.” – Martha

“My new favorite way to cut watermelon. Hanging onto summer as long as I can!” – Becky

“I went on a zucchini baking binge this past weekend and made 2 delicious recipes from Paleo Running Momma and Just Jessie B with 1 large zucchini! My 5 year old and husband love these too. Win all around!!” – Elisabeth

“I’ve been trying to reduce plastic use, and waste in general, in the kitchen (for health and environment). Some of my fave supplies are Bees Wrap for sandwiches, Cloth napkins and reusable zip top bags!” – Jaclyn

Did you find anything new from our monthly favorites? Let us know in the comments! We would also love to hear what you are currently loving. It’s so much fun to share good things.

  1. I bookmarked the delicious sounding zucchini recipes! I have an advance copy of Ruth Chou Simons’ Beholding and Becoming book as well and highly recommend it!
