TBL Favorites: October 2019

Hi Beauties!

I hope you enjoyed the October Monthly Teaser in your inbox this morning! (If you’re not signed up for our monthly roundup, you can join our list here.)

The team and I have so much fun compiling our favorite things to share with you each month! Hopefully they spark inspiration, provide joy, help you find a new pair of running shoes, try a new recipe, or read a new book!

Currently Listening to:

“Enjoyed this super helpful podcast on the best ways to create new habits and break bad habits.” – Robin

“I’m loving this Road Trip Vibes playlist on Spotify! Perfect for fall travels.” – Jordin

“‘Young House Love Has a Podcast‘ is back from their summer break and I am so glad. I love John and Sherry’s  thoughts on home design, life, and so much more – and they are so funny!” – Jaclyn

“I’ve been loving this playlist on spotify recently.” – Becky

Currently Reading:

Revisiting one of my favorite parenting books of all time, Simplicity Parenting.

“I’ve slowly been making my way through the book Grumpy Mom Takes a Holiday. It’s been really encouraging to me to find joy in the everyday details of motherhood that can become mundane.” – Susan

“Reading through the fall issue of The Magnolia Journal – always love the inspired articles and stories.” – Jordin

“I recently dropped in Seavee’s new flagship store and fell in love. I have my eyes on these and these when it’s time for a new pair.” -Robin

“It’s rainy season where I live, so I’ve already broken in these midi-rain boots from Target!” – Martha

“These pants from Athleta have become a staple in my wardrobe. They’re lightweight and SO comfortable and I love how I can dress them up or down.” – Susan

“I’ve been living in this sweater. It’s cozy and perfect for fall.” – Becky

In the Kitchen:

“I pulled my crockpot back out and am enjoying fall recipes like this Slow Cooker Chicken Shawarma!” – Martha

“Not something I make in the kitchen, but something I eat after I was introduced to it at the TBL Team Summit is this dark chocolate!” – Elisabeth

“All the fall vibes with some healthy turkey chili – love serving it with some Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Cornbread!” – Jordin

“My 3 year-old daughter always wants to help in the kitchen. I bought these kid friendly, nylon knives so she can be my little sous chef! She loves feeling a part of things and having kids help prepare meals can encourage them to try new things. ” – Jaclyn
