As founder + CEO of The Balanced Life, I provide workouts and resources for busy women who:

  • struggle to find time to exercise

  • desperately want to love their bodies again

  • are looking for an exercise plan that will work for the long-haul

I'm also passionate about helping women transform their relationship with exercise and healthy living by choosing "grace over guilt" and finding a balance that feels like FREEDOM.

Outside of The Balanced Life, I can be found chasing my 5-year-old daughter, 2-year-old son, and newborn twins, going for runs with my husband, relaxing on the beach, and occasionally enjoying the perfectly-timed glass of Napa Chardonnay (nursing mamas you know what I mean).

Believing the lie that beating yourself up or using guilt as a way to motivate yourself to eat right and exercise will NEVER work. It’s time to break free of that cycle and find an enjoyable way to take care of your body and mind once and for all.

I struggled with my body image and my relationship with food/exercise for a LONG time. When I finally found a way out of this vicious cycle I knew it was my mission to share it with the world.

I’m TERRIBLE at quoting movies. As in, I don’t know a single quote other than “I’ll be baaack” (I’ve never even seen that movie….Terminator right?). And if I try, it’s always embarrassing...but good entertainment for my husband.

I never re-watch my videos to edit awkward moments. I’d never hit “publish” if I tried to be perfect. So what you see is what you get. Awkward moments and all! 🙂

My faith is very important to me, I strive to live a life inspired by minimalism, and love everything written by Brene Brown, Shauna Niequist, and Henri Nouwen.

Robin lives and works in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. She obtained her comprehensive Pilates certification through Body Arts and Science International and her barre certification through Balanced Body. She is passionate about creating programs that empower, strengthen, restore and rejuvenate her clients from the inside out.
