Pilates Summer Series: Day #11

It’s hard to believe we’re entering the final week of the Pilates Summer Series. Time is flying. This has been so much fun hasn’t it? I’m excited to dive into another week of workouts and connecting through social media. I

LOVE how our Pilates sisterhood has grown over the past few weeks. Did you know there are over 2,600 women out there doing this series with you? So fun and so inspiring. I am grateful for each and every one of you.

Alright, let’s get out our mats and get down to business.

Today as you go through your workout, focus on your breath. Breath is a key component in your Pilates practice. While you’ll hear me cueing your breath from time to time, I don’t want you to get too caught up in getting it just right.


Instead, I just want you to breathe. Synchronize your breath with your movement and use your exhale to deepen your connection to your core. Inhale big, exhale big. Keep the breath moving.

Breathing is a proven way to improve your health, mental clarity and stress levels.

    Hi Robin, I’ve been noticing some tightness in my chest (almost like my sternum needs to crack) especially during the ab exercises, but the others as we’ll. any ideas/ suggestions why this could be happening and how to prevent it?
