Mind Body Pilates Challenge // Day 7

Hi Beauties!

Do you find yourself sitting at a computer a lot? Or maybe constantly looking down at your phone?

Our society is plagued with a posture problem due to our daily activities….

  • Some of us sit at desks while staring at screens
  • Some of us have kids and lose core strength
  • Some of us are less active than we used to be and it’s taking a toll on our bodies

The good news, is that consistent Pilates workouts can help!

In fact, Pilates one of the BEST forms of exercise to restore good posture and prevent postural problems down the road.

In today’s quick Pilates workout, you’ll work the muscles of your core and upper back to support good posture. I’ll also lead you through a series of stretches to open up tight chest muscles and release tension.

You’ll end this workout feeling taller, stronger, and more aligned! Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

I’ll also share more details about your Day 7 Mindfulness Assignment at the end of today’s workout, so be sure to watch until the very end. πŸ™‚

    re but great. Thank you so much for this opportunity to get better at it. best wishes Leena. I detox from phone every day from 7pm untill 7ampeated the session and it is still a challenge

    Done. Not too well. But better than it could have been. At least I have tried. After a long night shift, a 2 hour kip and a 2 + hour drive home. Good to be home. Good not to not bother. Trying to build consistency. Inspiration taken from you ladies.πŸ™‚

    day 7 done , lots of modifying , due to having fallen and twisted my foot in Day 6 kneeling upright and stretching 1 leg out to the side . i over-balanced! :9

    Day 7 completed had to modify the planks as cannot press on hands flat and had to bend knees to support. Pleased I have got this far in the challenge.

    I was once an enthusiastic cyclist and Pilates fiend. I have some physical challenges now which are hard on my mental health. The pacing of these workouts and the mindfulness challenges at the end are far better than what the doctor ordered. Each day is different and I feel determined to work through every challenge I meet. I enjoy reading other ladies comments, too. I don’t feel so alone.

    I found day 7 very hard. Reverse plank i couldn’t do as I have arthritis throughout my body. The reverse plank was impossible but illkeep.trying

    Reverse plank was super hard on my wrist area. Side planks were tough. I’m just weak and need to build up strength. Loving this though!

    It was a great challenge for me it’s been a long time. And I just got my foot ou t of a boot after nine weeks the strengthening of the spine was so amazing . It was tough but I did it yay looking forward to more

    done day 6 and day 7 tonight some tough stuff , side planks and the lifting of my rear end wasn’t something I was able to do very good but I gave it my best shot.

    Missed day 7 yesterday but jumped back into the challenge this morning! I struggled with the reverse plank and can tell my back strength isn’t like what it use to be! I’m so grateful for these workouts!

    I completed the workouts through Day 5 but I hurt my back so had to stop, I’m trying to now pick up where I left off but I can’t seem to access the workouts. Are they now unavailable to me? How can I access them?
