Mind Body Pilates Challenge // Day 6

Hi Beauties!

In today’s 15-minute Pilates routine, you’ll strengthen and sculpt the muscles of your core to tone and shape your waistline.

You’ll work the muscles of your core with a special focus on the obliques (ab muscles that run along the side of your waist) to create a strong, sleek and balanced body.

Your Mindfulness Assignment for today is pretty straight-forward, but be sure to watch the video as I’ll go into more detail at the end of today’s workout.

    Day 6 done found the exercises today really challenging not sure I’m doing them right but I feel as though I’ve worked out so must be doing something right. Don’t think I look as elegant as Robin though!!!!!

    I keep falling back during doing the boat post. Is there any modification for that?

      Hi Mandy! We recommend that you avoid the twists with your arms until you feel like you can hold the boat exercise pose. It’s an exercise in stability and core strength so as you continue your Pilates practice, it will get easier!

    Great work out. I suffer from severe sciatic pain followed by hamstring spasms (especially when bridging). So, I’ve done Day 5 and 6. I will be going back and finishing the others. I like your style, tempo, and verbal cues helps so much!

    Is there any way I can access replays of these sessions in about a month? Due to a broken bone in my foot, I am not able to do most exercises at present, but love what I am watching!

    Just checking in for the first time this during challenge. Iโ€™ve done them all so far and am enjoying how short they are!
    Even though Iโ€™ve been doing body weight exercise and some higher intensity 7 min workouts, Iโ€™m finding some difficulties with positioning in Pilates. Working different muscle groups, I guess.

    Did Day 5 yesterday and did Day 6 today. I left the workout until quite late. Think I’ll soak in the bath to help me relax and get some sleep. Thanks for the workout. I’m seeing a difference.

    Hi Just completed day 6, breathing and abs control a little off today, need to stay focused on abs stability. Will try today’s challenge again later to see if I can do it better. My side hip bones feel sore temporarily after leaning on them too long. I like the stretches though.

    I am 1 day late, but I got it done! Hardest workout for me…..but I did it! Reminding myself that I am doing this for myself and want to feel and look good for daughters wedding in the Bahamas! No fat tummy for me!
