Hi Beauties!

Have you already missed a workout? No guilt, no shame, it’s only day 3 and you still have an entire week of workouts ahead of you to benefit from.

Here at The Balanced Life we’re all about ditching the “all or nothing” mentality and as soon as you take the pressure off of yourself to be “perfect,” it’s easier to stick with it.

So just jump right back in today and let’s keep moving forward!

Today I’m leading you through a lower body Pilates workout designed to tone, strengthen, and lengthen.

In just 15 minutes, you’ll work your entire lower body: toning your legs, sculpting your booty, and strengthening your pelvic floor. All good things.

Interesting one! Thought I would really struggle because of the injury to my right leg. But no, found this much easier than I would ever have thought. Could this mean my leg is healing nicely!? Good one Robin ! Thanks

I see the podiatrist today for plantar faciitis–this workout helped loosen my muscles and alleviated some of the pain! (And, I am going to be SORE tomorrow in my backside!)

Thank you. I am quite active but she is taking its toll on my flexibility. I find that I am so uneven side to side. Most is due to prior injuries and repairs. This is perfect for me. I need it so much!

That should have said AGE is taking it’s toll on my flexibility. Again, thank you.

Why would doing a bridge hurt my lower back.? What am I doing wrong?

    • Becky Nobach 4 weeks ago

HI Theresa! Great question – Pilates should not cause you pain so it might be helpful to check out this exercise breakdown for the Shoulder Bridge from Robin. She provides more cueing and modifications to help prevent any strain during the exercise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2EQq_UN9CQ&t=2s

Three for three and enjoying each day. It took until 9:00 pm to get to it but very happy I didn’t discontinue. Thanks for the program!

I am so disappointed because I couldn’t do these workouts as they came in so I saved them to do when I could. I just tried to start them and I am unable to play them. It says I have to be a member of the sisterhood. What is going on? Is there a way I can still do these workouts. I was really looking forward to trying Pilates.

    • Teddi Lamons 2 weeks ago

Hi Kelli! I’m so sorry for the disappointment! These challenge workouts were only available to the public through the duration of the challenge. They are available to Sisterhood members year-round, however! 🙂
