Mexico Yoga Retreat with Sarah Beth Yoga

My friend and online yoga teacher, Sarah Beth, just announced that she is hosting a yoga retreat in Puerto Vallarta this summer!

Unfortunately I am unable to go because my summer travel is already booked but if you aren’t busy and are looking for an opportunity to step away from the busy-ness of life, I highly encourage you to consider this little getaway. I

invited Sarah Beth to share a little bit more about the Mexico yoga retreat for those of you who are interested so here are the details….


When will the retreat be taking place?
June 3 – 7, 2015.

Where will it be?

What is included?

– A 4 night stay in a shared room (all females)

– Chef-prepared lunches & dinners (accommodates raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan & many other dietary needs)

– Self serve breakfast, snacks & bottled water from our fully-stocked kitchen

– Transport to & from the PVR airport

– 9 yoga classes (AM active & PM restorative)

– 4 yoga workshops: Self-study, Chakra Tuning, Meditation, & Intentions/Goal Setting

– Daily guided meditation

– 1 hour private lesson with Sarah Beth

– 1 hour private massage

– Activity: Jungle & Waterfall tour

– Activity: Ocean Excursion

– Pre-trip Skype meeting with Sarah Beth

– Group bonding activities

– Swag bag filled with plenty of goodies to enhance your stay


Can you give us an idea of what a typical day would look like?

*Self Serve Breakfast
9:00 am – 60 minute active yoga class
*Rest & Relaxation on the beach, pool or personal time / Self serve snacks / Private lesson for 1 guest during this time
12:30 pm – Chef prepared lunch
2:00 pm – Jungle & Waterfall Tour OR Ocean Excursion
*R&R / Private lesson for 2nd guest
6:00pm – Chef prepared dinner
8:00 pm – Meditation workshop
9:00 pm – 60 minute Restorative Yoga Workshop with Yoga Nidra

What makes this different from other yoga retreats?

This is a yoga lifestyle retreat, with plenty of time for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.

This will be a place to explore the natural surroundings and let go or process life as you learn different techniques to live your yoga on and off the mat. We’ll practice a lot of yoga on the mat (a morning active practice and an evening restorative practice), but it will be balanced in a way where you shouldn’t feel overworked.

We’ll also focus on taking our practices off the mat with workshops on self-study, journaling exercises, meditation, presence, intention and goal setting. You will be fully supported in a group of like-minded women and I’ll be there for you before the trip through email and a pre-trip skype session as well as the entire retreat and some one-on-one time.

How much does it cost?

$1350 for a 5 day/4 night stay

Early Bird Discount: $100 off if you book and make your deposit by 3/1/2015 for $1250

(not including airfare)

Is there anything else we should know?

The villa we’re staying has on-site security, a chef, maid and concierge.

You can get $100 off your trip if you sign up before 3/1 using the Early Bird Discount.

We’re only booking 6-8 for this trip and we’re filling up fast! Sign up ASAP to reserve your spot today.

    If I didn’t already have travel plans lined up for June, this would be amazing! It sounds like a great experience. I would definitely be first in line for the pilates/yoga retreat, though! I’m excited to hear that that’s still something you’re working on! 🙂
