About The Sisterhood
The Balanced Life Sisterhood is a monthly Pilates subscription service designed to help you stay focused, stay consistent, and stay motivated with your workouts and healthy lifestyle goals throughout the year.
Each month Sisterhood members receive a monthly workout calendar, one brand new 30-40 minute Pilates or barre video workout, resources focused on our monthly mission, a free printable, a monthly recipe bundle, and discounts on The Balanced Life programs.
We’re currently focused on serving, inspiring and encouraging our current members. If you want to love your body more, build strength, improve flexibility and join a community that supports you every step of the way, you’ll LOVE The Sisterhood!

After you join The Sisterhood, you’ll receive a welcome email with all of the instructions and information you need to know about your Sisterhood account. Once you log in, you will have access to The Sisterhood content immediately. You can set up your profile, browse workouts, and start connecting with like-minded women from all around the world.
The monthly workout calendar assigns workouts Monday through Friday. Each week includes 3-4 short (5-10 minute) workouts from our YouTube channel and 2-3 full-length (30-40 minute) Sisterhood-only workouts.
No problem! New calendars and workouts are released on the 1st of the month, but you are welcome to join any time!
Yay! We are so excited to have you join us in The Sisterhood. To activate your gift membership, please email us via our contact page and we can provide you with instructions. At this time open enrollment to The Sisterhood is closed, but we will honor your gift memberships so you can get started right away!
Sisterhood members can switch from their monthly rate to the current annual membership rate at anytime. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for the current annual price and instructions on how to make the switch!
All you need is a mat, internet connection, and device to watch the workouts on! We sometimes feature fun workouts with equipment, but they are always optional or can be substituted with household items. Here are some of Robin’s favorite Pilates gear.
Congratulations! We are so happy for you. 🙂 We always recommend that you check with your health care provider first, but most women need to start modifying at 13-15 weeks. Sisterhood members have access to The Sisterhood workout library which features many “prenatal friendly” workouts. Sisterhood members also receive a discount on our Balanced Beginnings (prenatal pilates) program.
After you have been cleared by your health care provider to exercise, take it slow and try to give yourself lots of grace. When you’re ready to start exercising, here are two posts to help you ease back into Pilates: Postpartum Exercise and Pilates and Diastasis Recti.
Yes, your card will be automatically billed every month (or year) on the date that you sign up.
Your account will always be charged on the date that you signed up. If you sign up on the 3rd of the month, you’ll always be billed on the 3rd of the month.
You can cancel your membership at any time. However, by cancelling your membership, you are forgoing any “locked-in” rate and if you choose to sign up again, your rate will be determined by the current membership prices.
You can cancel your membership by logging in to your Sisterhood account, selecting “My Membership” from your profile dropdown menu and then clicking “cancel” under My Memberships. Once you cancel, you will not be billed for the following month.* After you cancel your membership, your login will remain active and your account will be set to expire at the end of your payment period. Once expired, you will no longer have access to the Sisterhood features, such as workout calendars, groups, resources, and more.
*If you originally signed up via PayPal, you will need to manually cancel your PayPal account as well. You can do that by logging into your PayPal account, selecting “recurring monthly payments”, and then selecting “cancel” for your Sisterhood subscription.
If you know your credit card is about to expire, you can update it under My Membership.* If your credit card expires and the payment can’t be completed, your membership will be cancelled. However, you can rejoin as an existing member and all of your previous membership history will be saved.
*If you originally signed up via PayPal, you will need to update your credit card information in your PayPal account.
We offer a 30-day full-refund for Sisterhood members who signed up for the yearly membership plan. Contact us at email@example.com within 30 days to request your refund. Due to the digital nature of our content, we do not offer refunds for the monthly membership plans.
Program + Product Questions
Yes! To gift a program, log out of your Balanced Life account and add the program to your cart. At checkout, add the receiver’s email and create a password for them. (They can always change it once they log in.)
To gift a product, log in to your Balanced Life account (if you don’t have one, you can create one at checkout), add the product to your cart, and then at checkout click the on the square below the billing address that says: Ship to a different address? Then enter, the receivers address in to that portion.
Your purchased programs are located within your Balanced Life account. First, log in to your account and then select the profile (or picture) icon. It is to the right of the ABOUT section or if you are using a mobile or tablet device, it is below the ABOUT section. (Make sure you don’t click on PROGRAMS at the top, as it will take you back to the sales page.)
Once you have highlighted the icon, select “My Programs” from the dropdown and it will be right there.
If you don’t love your item, we will take it back! We certainly want you to love your TBL products. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return your product for a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase.
In cases of damage or defect, please email firstname.lastname@example.org along with a clear description and digital image of the damage or defect. We will refund or replace your item as soon as possible.
The Balanced Life will provide a prepaid return shipping label in cases where items have arrived in damaged condition.
For all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for our programs due to the nature of their digital content. We try and provide as much detail as possible about the programs to ensure that you get an accurate picture about what the specific program includes. Yes, you can! We offer one FREE program: Pilates for Beginners for this very reason. You can add it to your cart and check out (you will need to make a Balanced Life account) to see if the format works for you!
Yes, you can! Your program will continue to be in your account AND many of the workouts within our programs are downloadable so you can keep them right on your computer.
You sure can! Click on the Login button and underneath the Sign-In button, click on “Lost your password?”. Enter your username or email and you will receive an email to reset your password. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need individual support.

Yes, you can! First you will need to create a free account on Vimeo.com (which is where we host our videos). Once you are logged in, you can log in to The Sisterhood. Select the video (or videos) you would like to watch by clicking on the heart in the upper right hand corner of the videos. (You have to be logged into your Vimeo account in order to save the video as “liked”.)
Once your video (or videos) is liked, open the Vimeo app on your intermediate device. Log in to your Vimeo account on the devices and open your “liked” videos (it will be under your profile section). There you can watch any of the Sisterhood videos you selected.
Yes! We consider this one of the unique benefits to The Sisterhood! You can download The Sisterhood workouts by visiting the Workout Library, clicking on the title of the video you wish to download, and then scrolling down to the bottom of the description. Click on the download button to begin the download. You can download the workouts in SD or HD, depending on your storage capacity and preferences.
