How was your weekend?
It was 70 degrees here in Denver and I soaked up every second of warm air and sunshine. I went for long walks, ate outside and enjoyed having the windows open all day.
I can hardly believe that it’s already time to talk about Valentine’s Day…but it is!
I know this holiday is bittersweet for many but don’t worry, we’re not going to talk about romance or having a perfect date, we’re going to talk about CHOCOLATE! 🙂
The stores are stocked with candy and treats and sometimes I get sad that I don’t eat that kind of food anymore. I start to feel like I’m missing out and then I remember how eating candy makes me feel (sick) and how I really don’t want to fill my body with artificial ingredients and food dye.
The good news is that if you’re trying to care for your body by eating well, there are plenty of healthier ways to indulge in sweet treats.
