Happy Friday!

Every Friday I’ll be sharing 5 things that are making me happy. The purpose is two-fold:

1) to reflect on the week and remind myself of the joy that comes from simple pleasures, and

2) to inspire you to celebrate little happiness-makers in your life too.

So with that, here are 5 simple things that have been making me happy…

If I add cinnamon, I use less sugar.

Cinammon has been shown to create healthier arteries, increase alertness and stabilize blood sugar.

It’s a win-win.

{Friday sales at Whole Foods}

Whole Foods Sale

Love Whole Foods but don’t love the prices. Friday sales make it possible to indulge.

We walk from her house to the gym, do an hour of Pilates followed by an hour

of cardio and then we walk home, chatting the whole way.

It’s a wonderful break from being in the studio. Sunshine does wonders for the mood.

I try to like green tea but I just can’t get there. This is my yummy solution.

Green tea = full of antioxidants and catechins.

Lemon =  has a natural cleansing effect on the body.
