  15. Lisa 1 year ago

Robin, Thank you for this challenge. I have always been healthy and could do most any exercise. Now with back and neck injuries and some other joint issues we are still working out, I have been feeling so old (only in the body, but it was getting to my spirit). Today was a wonderful start to the challenge. It really did challenge my body, (especially the side plank – ugh!) but oh it felt so good to move and stretch again. I’m looking forward to being “younger” by the end of the week.

  16. Megan 1 year ago

  19. Ellen 1 year ago

Great workout! But how can I strengthen side plank which is the only exercise I really almost can’t do?

    • Teddi Lamons 1 year ago

Hi Ellen! Side planks are so difficult! They do get easier with time, so trust the process. And feel free to incorporate any of the modifications as needed. ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. Rindell 1 year ago

  25. Cheryl Sandoe 1 year ago

Thank you for making these videos available. The side plank is hardest for me. Also, how can I strengthen my shoulders while doing the side plank and also my wrists.

    • Teddi Lamons 1 year ago

Hi Cheryl! It gets better with time. Trust the process and hang in there! Keep practicing, and incorporate modifications as needed, for as long as needed. Some of our Sisterhood members worked on their side planks for over a year before doing them without modifications. Don’t be afraid to use those. ๐Ÿ™‚ If your wrists are bothering you, you can try putting your fist on the ground (as opposed to a flat palm. Give that a try. We’re cheering you on! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Cheryl Sandoe 1 year ago

Thanks for the suggestions! Will try the fist…will that strengthen the wrist as well? Are there other exercises I can incorporate for strengthening the wrist?

        • Teddi Lamons 1 year ago

You’re welcome! There aren’t really exercises to strengthen your wrists, but they will get stronger as you keep practicing Pilates. Make sure you’re using good form during exercises when you’re up on our hands, and modify by going on your fists (or taking a break altogether) as needed. Strong wrists will come with time! ๐Ÿ™‚

  33. Sandra Gignac 1 year ago

I got through Day #1 …it was tough but energizing.
I have had a knee replacement and have to modify anything involving being on your knees.
Robin… could you offer up some ideas

    • Teddi Lamons 1 year ago

Hi Sandra! If you can’t be on your knees, you can try substituting the tricep dip for pushups. That’ll be a great way to still get great work in your triceps without being on your knees. ๐Ÿ™‚

  34. Leah 1 year ago
