Hi! I'm Robin.

I serve women who struggle to find time to exercise, desperately wanting to feel comfortable in their own skin again and are totally over health & fitness sites that talk about fad diets and unnrealistic exercise plans that end up making you feel worse about yourself at the end of the day.

My goal is to provide tools to help us all bring more balance into our lives.

I provide shortcuts to getting fit through quick, yet incredibly effective, online Pilates & barre workouts that can be done from home or on the road.

I also help women transform their relationship with exercise and healthy living by making it feel like a treat rather than a chore.


The Balanced Life serves tens of thousands of women all over the world.

I've partnered with major brands such as Athleta, Cameron Diaz's blog 'The Body Book', Guiliana Rancic's "Fab, Fit, Fun", Self Magazine online, Business Insider and many others to bring the positive message of The Balanced Life to women who are striving to improve their bodies and their lives.

And when I'm not filming Pilates workouts, coaching online clients or posting to Instagram, I can be found chasing my 2 year old daughter, going for runs with my husband and while I'd normally say "finishing the day with a chilled glass of Napa Chardonnay", that's not really acceptable for a lady who is 9 months pregnant. :) So these days I'm chugging water, trying to find creative ways to avoid bending over and sipping decaf iced-coffees hoping they'll magically give me an afternoon caffeine boost.


If you're dying to know more, here are 4 things you probably don't know about me...

  • I struggled with my body image and my relationship with food/exercise for a LONG time. When I finally found a way out of this vicious cycle I knew it was my mission to share it with the world.
  • I'm TERRIBLE at quoting movies. As in, I don't know as single one other than "I'll be baaack" (I've never even seen that movie....Terminator right?) and if I try it's always embarrassing but good entertainment for my husband.
  • I never re-watch my videos to edit awkward moments. I'd never share a thing if I tried to be perfect. So what you see is what you get. Awkward moments and all. :)

I'm so glad you found The Balanced Life.

Our message here is "grace over guilt."

Believing the lie that beating yourself up or using guilt as a way to motivate you to eat right and exercise will NEVER work. It's time to break free of that cycle and find a pleasurable way to take care of your body and mind once and for all.

Professional Notes:

Robin discovered Pilates through her competitive and professional dance career. Robin recently relocated to Denver and exclusively trains private clients out of her home studio. Prior to taking her business private and online she taught classes at Park Meadows Pilates, Equinox and Stanford University. In addition, she privately trained some of Silicon Valley's top executives, entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Her whole body approach was sought after in the bay area's fast paced corporate environment. Clients turn to her to restore their mind and body so that they can excel in life and handle the demands of their daily lives. Robin is passionate about creating programs that empower, strengthen, restore and rejuvenate her clients.

She obtained her comprehensive Pilates certification through Body Arts & Science International. She works with a variety of clients: from those just wanting to get in shape, to those with injuries, Parkinson's Disease, pre-natal, post-natal, back pain, scoliosis, hip replacements and more.
