I provide workouts and resources for busy women who struggle to find time to exercise, desperately wanting to feel comfortable in their own skin again and are tired of starting and stopping exercise plans that don't work for the long-haul.

The Balanced Life is a place to find quick, yet effective, online Pilates & barre workouts that can be done from home or on the road.

I'm also passionate about helping women transform their relationship with exercise and healthy living by choosing "grace over guilt" and finding a balance that feels like FREEDOM.


The Balanced Life serves tens of thousands of women all over the world.

I've partnered with major brands such as Athleta, Cameron Diaz's blog 'The Body Book', Guiliana Rancic's "Fab, Fit, Fun", Self Magazine online, Business Insider and many others to bring the positive message of The Balanced Life to women who are striving to improve their bodies and their lives.

When I'm not filming Pilates workouts, coaching online clients or posting to Instagram, I can be found chatting with my 3-year-old daughter, chasing my 10-month-old son, going for runs with my husband, relaxing on the beach and occasionally enjoying the perfectly-timed glass of Napa Chardonnay (nursing mamas you know what I mean).


If you want to know more, here are 4 things you probably don't know about me...

  • I struggled with my body image and my relationship with food/exercise for a LONG time. When I finally found a way out of this vicious cycle I knew it was my mission to share it with the world.
  • I'm TERRIBLE at quoting movies. As in, I don't know as single quote other than "I'll be baaack" (I've never even seen that movie....Terminator right?) and if I try it's always embarrassing but good entertainment for my husband.
  • I never re-watch my videos to edit awkward moments. I'd never hit "publish" if I tried to be perfect. So what you see is what you get. Awkward moments and all! :)

I'm so glad you found The Balanced Life.

Our message here is "grace over guilt."

Believing the lie that beating yourself up or using guilt as a way to motivate you to eat right and exercise will NEVER work. It's time to break free of that cycle and find an enjoyable way to take care of your body and mind once and for all.

Robin lives and works in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. Prior to taking her business private and online she taught classes at Park Meadows PilatesEquinox and Stanford University. In addition, she privately trained some of Silicon Valley's top executives, entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Her whole body approach was sought after in the bay area's fast paced corporate environment. Clients turn to her to restore their mind and body so that they can excel in life and handle the demands of their daily lives. Robin is passionate about creating programs that empower, strengthen, restore and rejuvenate her clients.

She obtained her comprehensive Pilates certification through Body Arts & Science International. She works with a variety of clients: from those just wanting to get in shape, to those with injuries, Parkinson's Disease, pre-natal, post-natal, back pain, scoliosis, hip replacements and more.
